Anna Piotrowska steps down as director of Teatr Rozbark

Anna Piotrowska is stepping down as the director of Teatr Rozbark in Bytom after seven seasons in the role. Having been associated with the institution since 2014, she previously served as the artistic director until 2018 before officially taking the helm in 2019.

During her tenure, Piotrowska oversaw the creation of nearly 130 original dance theatre productions. Her work earned significant recognition, including the Złota Maska award in 2022 for choreography and stage movement for the productions ‘Gemini tryptyk’ and ‘Policzalni’.

Piotrowska will remain in the Silesia region, continuing her work as a professor at the Dance Theatre Department of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Bytom. She will also continue her roles as a choreographer, director, performer, and leader of the Dance Development Foundation.
