Anna Torv to star in crime drama Dustfall for Apple TV

The Australian crime drama “Dustfall” is set for a 2027 release on Apple TV. Starring Anna Torv as Detective Sergeant Antigone “Tig” Pollard, the six-episode series is based on Vikki Petraitis’s novel “The Unbelieved”.

Set and filmed on Australia’s Gold Coast, the story follows a seasoned detective investigating a sexual assault case in a small town. The investigation becomes increasingly complex when a key suspect is found dead, forcing Pollard to confront secrets from her own adolescence.

Directed by Emma Freeman and written by Dianne Taylor, the production is a co-production for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation involving Soapbox Pictures, Moonriver Television, the BBC, ZDF, and Screen Australia. The cast includes Juliet Stevenson, Peter Fenton, and Zoe Phillips.
