Singer Anna Vissi has reportedly decided to provide monthly compensation to her musicians after the cancellation of her upcoming season at the Arena nightclub. The delay is due to the ongoing extensive renovation of the venue, which is being designed by renowned architect Peter Marino. While completion was initially expected in December, the project is now anticipated to be finished by next summer.

Vissi has informed her band that they are free to seek other professional engagements during this period. This move is noted as unusual within the entertainment industry, where musicians are typically released without compensation when a season is cancelled.

Simultaneously, a professional dispute between Vissi and songwriter Nikos Karvelas continues to impact her plans. The conflict involves the management of intellectual property rights for live performances.
