Anna Vissi concert at OAKA draws 95,000 fans despite reported losses

Singer Anna Vissi performed a massive concert at OAKA on September 26, drawing a crowd of over 95,000 spectators. The event, produced by D&A Productions, was characterized as one of the largest musical events in recent Greek history.

Reports indicate the production faced significant financial challenges. While ticket revenues were estimated at approximately 7 million euros, the total production costs reached roughly 10 million euros due to high expenses for technical infrastructure, stage design, and security. This deficit is attributed to a conscious decision to keep ticket prices accessible to the public. Furthermore, reports suggest that under a specific deal, Vissi did not receive a personal fee, as her compensation was tied only to net profits which were not realized.

The event also featured premium brand presence, with Grey Goose providing exclusive hospitality services and signature cocktails for VIP guests and suites at the venue.
