Annachiara Allara wins European Under 19 modern pentathlon title

Annachiara Allara has become the European Under 19 modern pentathlon champion following a competition in Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal. The Italian athlete, representing Junior Asti, secured the title with a total of 1462 points.

Allara achieved her victory through a strong performance in the laser run, where she finished first with a time of 11’47”45. This result allowed her to overcome a 25-second deficit from the leader to claim the gold. She finished ahead of Switzerland’s Leah Kocher, who took silver with 1458 points, and Lithuania’s Guste Peciulyte, who earned bronze with 1442 points.

In the team classification, Hungary took first place, followed by Germany in second and Belarus in third. The Italian team, consisting of Allara, Sara Beggio, and Pellegrini, finished in eighth place.
