Annaly Capital Management sees shifts in institutional holdings

Institutional investors have recently adjusted their positions in Annaly Capital Management Inc. according to various SEC filings.

Principal Financial Group Inc. increased its stake in the real estate investment trust by 3.7% during the second quarter, bringing its total holdings to 1,679,569 shares. Similarly, TD Asset Management Inc. raised its holdings by 25.1% in the same period, resulting in a total of 519,768 shares.

In contrast, the Retirement Systems of Alabama reduced its position in Annaly Capital Management by 11.1% during the second quarter, selling 122,806 shares. Other major institutional movements include Vanguard Group Inc. increasing its holdings by 5.0% and State Street Corp raising its stake by 8.4% during the fourth quarter.
