Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson discuss filming ‘Verity’

Cast members Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett have shared insights into the production of the upcoming psychological thriller ‘Verity’, based on the book by Colleen Hoover.

Hathaway described certain filming days as feeling like a vacation, noting that her tasks involved resting in a nightgown and letting her hair dry naturally. Despite the physical inactivity, she noted that she used the time to mentally rehearse upcoming dialogue.

Johnson revealed that a significant scream during a scene directed by Michael Showalter was improvised. Hathaway remarked that the improvised moment, which occurred during a sequence involving Johnson and Hartnett, remains memorable. Regarding the film's ambiguous conclusion, Johnson expressed an appreciation for allowing audiences to decide for themselves rather than providing a definitive resolution. The film is scheduled for release on October 2.
