Disney Legends: Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson and Jonas Brothers honored at D23
During the D23 convention in Anaheim, California, The Walt Disney Company officially inducted several prominent figures into its Disney Legends Hall of Fame. Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, and the Jonas Brothers were among the honorees recognized for their significant impact on the company’s legacy.
Hathaway, who rose to fame in the Disney film ‘The Princess Diaries’, expressed her gratitude, stating, “I am here today because I’m one of the most insanely lucky people in the world.” The actress also discussed her upcoming return to the role of Mia Thermopolis in ‘The Princess Diaries 3’.
Other honorees included the Jonas Brothers for their cultural impact through ‘Camp Rock’, and Dwayne Johnson for his long-standing connection to Disney projects. The ceremony also highlighted contributions from composer Lin-Manuel Miranda and former CEO Bob Iger. Additionally, the event featured a Disney Princess concert celebration involving Brandy, Anika Noni Rose, and Halle Bailey, and confirmed that ‘Zootopia 3’ is officially in production.
