Anne Menden returns to GZSZ after maternity leave

Actress Anne Menden is returning to the RTL soap opera ‘Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten’ (GZSZ) on Monday, September 7, following her maternity leave. Menden, a long-standing cast member for over two decades, will reappear as the character Emily in episode 8.602.

Her return to the Berlin-based setting follows a period in Singapore. The character is expected to face immediate tension, including conflicts regarding a struggling agency and confrontations with a former rival, Julian, as well as a reunion with Tobias. Menden noted in an interview that the character is experiencing internal conflict as the ‘new Emily’ and ‘old Emily’ reconcile.
