Anne Pican appointed Deputy Director of Figaro Group

The Groupe Figaro announced on 30 July 2026 that Anne Pican has been promoted to directrice déléguée du Pôle Figaro, succeeding Bertrand Gié who left for Le Point. Reporting to chief executive Marc Feuillée, Pican will oversee all Figaro brand activities, including the newspaper, its magazines, digital platforms, Figaro TV and social media.

Pican, who has been editor of Le Figaro and Madame Figaro since August 2020 and a member of the group’s executive committee, brings a career that began at Hachette Filipacchi in Asia in 1997, followed by senior roles at RTL and Lagardère Active before joining Figaro in 2009. She also serves on the boards of Reporters d’Espoir and the production company CFRT.
