Anne Rice adaptations expand with new AMC series updates

The AMC series based on Anne Rice’s ‘The Vampire Chronicles’ continues to expand. The third installment, titled ‘The Vampire Lestat’, is now available for free streaming in Australia via SBS On Demand.

AMC has confirmed that the fourth season of the ‘Interview with the Vampire’ franchise will be titled ‘Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned’, adapting the third book in the series. Hannah Moscovitch will take over as showrunner for the new season, while Rolin Jones moves to an executive producer role.

Additionally, ‘Mayfair Witches’ has been renewed for a third season, which is expected to premiere in 2027. This upcoming season will be set in Salem, Massachusetts, and will explore the mythology of witchcraft and historical folklore. Other potential projects in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe include a possible adaptation of ‘Memnoch the Devil’, though no official orders have been placed.
