Anne-Sophie Pic opens new restaurant and bar at Fondation Cartier

Renowned chef Anne-Sophie Pic has opened a new gastronomic restaurant and bar named ‘Utopic’ within the Fondation Cartier in Paris. The establishment is designed to complement the contemporary art institution rather than serve as a standard canteen.

Inspired by Japanese B-Bars, the venue features a cocktail menu developed with Maël Jego, including a drink inspired by Pic’s signature ‘Clair-obscur’ dish. The space, designed by the Moinard Bétaille agency, utilizes blond wood, pastel tones, and artistic interventions to create a refined atmosphere. The project follows the closure of Pic’s previous bistro, La Dame de Pic, and aims to create a dialogue between gastronomy and the foundation's art exhibitions.
