Anne Wünsche receives death threat following identity theft scam

German influencer and content creator Anne Wünsche has reported receiving a death threat following a prolonged identity theft and fraud scheme. An unknown individual created a fake profile on the creator platform MYM, impersonating Wünsche to engage in a fraudulent romantic relationship with a fan.

The victim, believing he was in a three-year relationship with the influencer, reportedly transferred large sums of money to the scammer. The situation escalated when the man, realizing he had been deceived, threatened Wünsche and expressed intentions to travel to her location in Mallorca to confront her.

Wünsche stated that she was able to de-escalate the situation and clarify that she had never had contact with the man. The incident has been reported to the police, and authorities have been provided with the phone number used by the impersonator. Wünsche expressed that while she managed to calm the situation, being threatened for actions she did not commit was frightening.
