Annecy opens Cité Internationale du Cinéma d’Animation

The Cité Internationale du Cinéma d’Animation has opened in Annecy, France. Located in a rehabilitated site that previously served as a horse breeding facility, the center has been transformed into a cultural hub.

The facility includes a future cinema, the Biltoki food hall, and various exhibition spaces. A permanent 450-square-meter exhibition features five thematic areas covering the history, techniques, and creative processes of animation, including tributes to inventions like the zoetrope.
