Annemarie Carpendale discusses separation from Wayne Carpendale

German television presenter Annemarie Carpendale has spoken about her separation from actor Wayne Carpendale after 19 years together. Although the couple announced their split in September, they revealed they have not been a couple since the beginning of 2026.

In an interview with Bunte, the 48-year-old moderator stated that while the public announcement caused some stress due to increased scrutiny, the couple remains closely connected. They continue to live under the same roof in Munich to maintain a stable family environment for their eight-year-old son.

Annemarie Carpendale emphasized that there is no reason for them to be ‘zickig’ (difficult or petty) given their long history. She expressed relief that they are managing the transition harmoniously and intend to remain a strong team for their family.
