Annemarie Nissen sets Danish record at World Championships

Danish runner Annemarie Nissen achieved a sensational fourth-place finish in the One Mile event at the World Championships in Copenhagen. Nissen, 32, set a new Danish record with a time of 4:26.78, a performance she described as ‘almost surreal’.

In the women's competition, France's Agathe Guillemot secured the gold medal and set a new European record with a time of 4:22.74. On the men's side, Germany's Robert Farken took gold, setting a new world record with a time of 3:51.80, surpassing the previous mark by exactly half a second.
