Annika detective series arrives on Netflix

The Scottish detective series Annika, starring Nicola Walker, is now available for streaming on Netflix. The collection includes all 12 episodes across two seasons.

A blend of crime drama and black comedy, the series follows a detective who frequently references her Norwegian heritage and breaks the fourth wall to address the audience. While the show received critical acclaim—including an 83% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its second season—broadcaster UKTV has stated there are currently no plans for a third season.
