Anno 117: Pax Romana announces Dawn of the Delta expansion

Ubisoft has announced ‘Dawn of the Delta’, the largest expansion to date for the city-building game Anno 117: Pax Romana. Scheduled for release in November 2026, the DLC introduces a third province inspired by the Egyptian Nile Delta, joining the existing Latium and Albion regions.

Creative Director Manuel Reinherer detailed that the expansion will significantly increase map size. Unlike previous provinces, this region features a large landmass divided by a central river. The gameplay will revolve around three distinct climate zones: arid land requiring irrigation, fertile farmland, and highly productive river floodplains. Players must manage risks such as seasonal flooding, which can impact productivity and cause hygiene issues like mosquito infestations.

The expansion is expected to include five new population groups, new gods, unique ships, and various new production chains and goods. This follows the developer's established release pattern of smaller DLCs followed by a major end-of-year expansion.
