ANO 2011 announces municipal election candidates in Kutná Hora and Zlín

Political parties in the Czech Republic have announced their candidates for the upcoming 2026 municipal elections in Kutná Hora and Zlín.

In Kutná Hora, the ANO 2011 movement will be led by Jiří Kukla, a current city councilor and member of the housing and property commission. Kukla’s campaign focuses on continuing existing urban projects, such as the reconstruction of the Sankturinovský House and the development of electric bus charging stations. His candidate list includes Zdeněk Sedláček, Miroslava Hebrová, Monika Válková, and Michal Klečák.

In Zlín, Jiří Korec is seeking a third consecutive term as mayor, leading the ANO 2011 ticket. If successful, Korec would become the first person in modern history to win three consecutive terms in the city. A total of nine groups are competing for leadership, with 369 candidates vying for 41 seats in the city council. The incoming administration will oversee an annual budget of nearly three billion CZK, covering schools, social services, and infrastructure investments.
