ANOMAC installs new board to professionalize Mexican state congresses
The National Association of Chief Officers and General Secretaries (ANOMAC) has inaugurated a new Board of Directors aimed at professionalizing and updating the administrative and parliamentary support structures of Mexico's state congresses.
Julio Leopoldo de Lara Valera, Secretary General of the Congress of Puebla, has taken leadership of the association, succeeding Javier Domínguez Morales, the Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs of the Congress of the State of Mexico. The organization's mission focuses on strengthening technical areas within legislative powers to improve service quality, update parliamentary norms, and adapt legislative services to 21st-century technological changes.
The transition follows the XXIX Assembly of ANOMAC held in Puebla, which facilitated dialogue and the exchange of ideas to enhance the technical capabilities of state legislative bodies for the benefit of citizens and legislators.
