Anorthosis Famagusta calls for patience amid financial recovery

Anorthosis Famagusta spokesperson Charalambos Parpettas has called for patience regarding the team’s performance and coaching, citing the club’s difficult financial circumstances. Parpettas argued that it is unfair to place immediate pressure on the coach and players given the lack of transfer reinforcements and the economic instability inherited by the new administration.

In addition to addressing on-field criticism, the club highlighted its ongoing efforts to stabilize its finances. The Marangou administration has reportedly paid over two million euros toward past obligations. While these financial measures may not yield immediate athletic results, the club maintains that settling these debts is essential for establishing a stable foundation and ensuring the long-term survival and security of the football department.
