Anorthosis Famagusta prepares for derby against AEL Limassol

Anorthosis Famagusta is preparing for its league premiere against AEL Limassol, scheduled for Sunday at 19:00 at the Alpha Mega Stadium. The match serves as a significant test for the team under coach Nestor El Maestro, who aims to establish a strong foundation for the upcoming season.

Due to a transfer embargo, the club is unable to make new signings and must rely on its existing roster. El Maestro has identified a core group of players, including Karlstrom in goal and a defensive line featuring Tandi, Kiko, Bergstrom, and Keith. The midfield options include Aboagye, Sergiu, Chrysostomou, and Furtado, while the attacking third features players such as Lopes, Evagoras Charalambous, and Marios Ilia.
