Anorthosis Famagusta receives legal vindication from Court of Appeal

Anorthosis Famagusta spokesperson Charalambos Parpettas has hailed a recent decision by the Court of Appeal as a “clear and substantial vindication” for the club. The ruling overturns a previous decision that had been made against the team.

Parpettas stated that the club’s legal team successfully proved that no objects were thrown onto the pitch during the match in question, correcting what he described as a “wrongful referral.” He also addressed comments made by the President of the Cyprus Football Association’s Judicial Committee, emphasizing the need to maintain the credibility and integrity of football by avoiding any appearance of influence.

Looking ahead, the club is preparing for an upcoming home match against Pafos FC at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium. Parpettas noted that the team has been working hard during the break to remain competitive against their strong opponents.
