Anorthosis FC ramps up pre‑season under coach Nestor El Maestro

Nestor El Maestro has taken full charge of Anorthosis' pre‑season preparation, aiming to embed his tactical philosophy and build a competitive squad. He stresses meticulous detail, physical conditioning and tactical work, continuing a track record of strong starts at former clubs such as Spartak Trnava and CSKA Sofia.

Training sessions are becoming more intense, allowing the coach to evaluate the roster and develop on‑field chemistry. Almost all players are taking part, with the sole absentee being midfielder Mihalis Ioannou, who is recovering from surgery and will return when fully fit.
