Anouk Faivre-Picon joins Giron Jurassien as assistant coach

Anouk Faivre-Picon, a former elite French cross-country skier, has joined the Giron Jurassien as an assistant coach at its regional cross-country skiing performance center. The appointment is effective as of August 1, 2026.

Faivre-Picon brings extensive high-level experience to the role, having competed for 16 years on the international stage. Her career highlights include participating in two Olympic Games and three World Championships, as well as securing victories at the Marathon de l'Engadine and the Transjurassienne. She is also a multiple-time French champion.

Following her competitive career, Faivre-Picon worked in education as a primary school teacher and served as a technical delegate for both the French Ski Federation and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). Damien Pellaton, director of the Giron Jurassien regional performance center, noted that her combination of elite competitive experience and teaching background will be a significant asset in developing young talent.
