ANPE union demands filling of teacher vacancies in Murcia

The ANPE union in Murcia has called on the Regional Ministry of Education to fill all teaching vacancies and substitutions before the start of the new school year. The union noted that vacancies arise from medical leaves, retirements, and other administrative changes across schools, institutes, and language schools.

According to union data, there are approximately 640 vacancies for teachers, with roughly 79% being part-time positions. ANPE expressed concern over the low number of full-time roles and urged the administration to provide better human and material resources to ensure quality education and improved working conditions for staff.
