Anápolis and Porangatu host cooperative movement events

The municipalities of Anápolis and Porangatu are hosting events to highlight the cooperative movement. Promoted by Sistema OCB/GO in partnership with local cooperatives, these free activities aim to connect the community with the principles and opportunities of cooperativism.

In Anápolis, the program focuses on students at UniEVANGÉLICA. The event includes interactive stands, financial education, and a lecture titled ‘Inovar é Cooperar’ (To Innovate is to Cooperate) by Frank Philson. Additionally, a cultural poetry contest involving 169 elementary students will be awarded. A solidarity action is also scheduled for September 26 at the Instituto Cristão Evangélico, involving several cooperatives such as Sicredi Celeiro, Cooperbana, Sicoob CredSeguro, Cresol, and Sicoob Unicentro Norte Brasileiro.

In Porangatu, the celebration includes a lecture by Bruno Miranda at Cotec, focusing on the role of cooperatives in social transformation.
