Anápolis hosts Evangelization and Mission Congress

The Evangelization and Mission Congress of the Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus concluded on September 20 at the Regina Minorum Seminary in Anápolis, Brazil. The three-day event brought together friars, laypeople, and religious figures to discuss the theme “Sent to evangelize in fraternity and minority in the heart of Brazil.”

Participants focused on the challenges of modern evangelization, emphasizing a Franciscan approach characterized by fraternity and proximity to the poor. Discussions covered various sectors, including parishes, education, health, communication, and the digital world. The congress aimed to evaluate current missionary realities and develop new proposals for addressing both the material and spiritual needs of the community.
