Anápolis: One-year-old boy dies in farm dam drowning

A one-year-old boy died after drowning in a dam at Fazenda Brejo Grande, located in the rural area of Anápolis, Brazil. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon while the child's mother was cleaning the residence.

The mother, believing the child was with the grandmother, discovered the boy floating in the dam behind the property. Despite immediate first aid efforts by the mother and resuscitation attempts by the Emergency Mobile Care Service (Samu), the infant could not be revived.

The Civil Police are investigating the circumstances of the accidental death.
