Ansaler wins Breeders Gold Junior Cup at Mombetsu

In horse racing news, Ansaler secured its first graded stakes victory at Mombetsu Racecourse in the 20th Breeders Gold Junior Cup. Ridden by Masaaki Kuwamura and trained by Hideki Kadokawa, the seven-to-one longshot utilized a front-running strategy to hold off Tarumae Don by a neck. The win serves as a key stepping stone toward the JBC 2-Year-Old Juvenile (Jpn3) scheduled for November.

Separately, Moon Beryl is preparing for the Suzuran Sho at Sapporo Racecourse. Despite its previous victory occurring on dirt, the two-year-old filly is expected to perform well on turf. The training team expressed confidence in the horse's speed and ability to adapt to the grass surface, noting positive feedback from recent training sessions.
