Ansan City approves smart city plan for Singil 2 district

Ansan City has approved the implementation plan for the ‘Singil 2 Public Housing District Smart City Construction Project,’ marking the start of efforts to build smart urban infrastructure and services. The project aims to create a future-oriented residential complex by integrating smart city technologies into the district.

The initiative focuses on three primary sectors: transportation, safety, and the environment. By establishing communication infrastructure and networks, the city intends to collect and link urban data to respond quickly to various city issues. This system is designed to improve citizen convenience, enhance safety, and increase the efficiency of urban management.

Following the approval, the city will collaborate with project implementers and relevant agencies to proceed with detailed designs and facility construction. Ansan City plans to use the experience gained from the Singil 2 district to expand smart city services to other major development projects, including the Jangsang, Uiwang, Gunpo, and Ansan districts.
