Ansan completes maintenance on Seongpo Nonghyup public parking lot

Ansan City has completed maintenance work on the public parking lot located behind Seongpo Nonghyup to improve citizen convenience and safety.

The project involved repaving aged surfaces and reorganizing narrow lanes and parking spaces. To optimize vehicle movement, the city transitioned some sections from perpendicular parking to 60-degree angled parking and increased the width of parking stalls from 2.3 meters to 2.5 meters. While the total number of spaces was adjusted from 48 to 38, the improvements aim to facilitate smoother entry and exit.

Additionally, the renovation included repositioning disabled parking spaces closer to the sidewalk to enhance accessibility for those with reduced mobility. The project was completed in mid-October with a total budget of 70 million won.
