Ansan Mayor launches Hyundap Bus to integrate citizen feedback into budget
Ansan Mayor Lee Min-geun has launched the ‘Hyundap Bus’ initiative, a field-based administration program designed to incorporate citizen feedback directly into the 2026 municipal budget. The program involves visiting 25 administrative neighborhoods to address local grievances and regional issues.
Following a preliminary collection of 435 suggestions regarding civic affairs and daily inconveniences, the Mayor will personally visit approximately 50 key sites to discuss solutions with residents. The tour begins in Bono 2-dong, where officials will inspect a public complex site and park facilities, and is scheduled to continue through October 20.
For matters not requiring the Mayor's direct presence, the city will utilize ‘Value Talk with Citizens,’ where department heads and district chiefs will conduct site inspections. Ansan City reported a 90.61% implementation rate for resident suggestions during the current administration, having visited 421 locations and met over 12,000 citizens to date.
