Ansar Allah official claims Saudi Arabia limits Yemen forces to protect oil interests

Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the Ansar Allah political bureau, stated that Saudi Arabia is avoiding the escalation of its mobilized forces in Yemen to protect its vital oil interests and infrastructure, specifically mentioning Aramco.

Al-Farah suggested that Saudi decision-making on this matter is influenced by Washington's regional interests. He claimed that the United States is exerting pressure on Riyadh to prevent the opening of new fronts that could jeopardize strategic interests, particularly regarding oil supplies and maritime navigation in the region, including the Strait of Hormuz.

According to al-Farah, the mobilized groups in Yemen have become a forward barrier used by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its interests, while Riyadh simultaneously restricts their movement to prevent any actions that might lead to retaliatory strikes against its own critical facilities.
