ANSES announces October social benefit payment schedule
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has released the payment schedule for social benefits for the week of October 12 to 16. Due to the holiday on Monday, October 12, disbursements will begin on Tuesday, October 13. Benefits include pensions, Universal Child Allowance (AUH), Pregnancy Allowance, and Non-Contributory Pensions. Most benefits have received a 1.66% adjustment based on August inflation figures.
Specific payment dates for October are determined by the final digit of the recipient's National Identity Document (DNI). For example, pensions for those with DNI ending in 2 will be paid on October 13, while those ending in 5 will receive payments on October 16. Becas Progresar payments for students are scheduled from October 13 to October 19, with a monthly amount of $35,000, though some students may receive $28,000 due to a 20% retention.
Additionally, the Ministry of Human Capital, led by Sandra Pettovello, confirmed the continued application of Decree 525/95, which ensures that minimum pension holders receive a compensatory supplement to bridge gaps between their current earnings and the legal minimum.
Looking ahead, ANSES is preparing a digital transformation for the AUH 'Libreta' starting November 1, 2026. This new system aims to automate the verification of school attendance and health check-ups through data sharing between the Ministry of Education and health agencies, reducing the need for manual paperwork.
