ANSES announces September pension increases and payment dates

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has announced the payment schedule and updated amounts for pensions and benefits for September. Benefits will see a 2.11% increase, a figure aligned with the July inflation rate reported by INDEC.

This adjustment applies to various benefits, including the minimum pension, non-contributory pensions (PNC), and the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM). Additionally, an extraordinary bonus of $70,000 will be maintained for those receiving the minimum pension, PNC, or PUAM. For those earning above the minimum, the bonus is applied proportionally up to a cap of $498,633.20.

Regarding the PUAM, which is intended for citizens aged 65 or older without sufficient contributions, the base amount will be $342,872.98. When combined with the $70,000 reinforcement bonus, total payments for PUAM beneficiaries will reach $412,872.98.

The payment schedule for beneficiaries with ID numbers ending in 0 specifies that those receiving the minimum pension or a non-contributory pension will be paid on September 8, while those receiving amounts above the minimum will be paid on September 22.
