ANSES announces September 2026 benefit increases in Argentina

ANSES has announced updates to social benefits in Argentina for September 2026, driven by the mobility formula linked to the Consumer Price Index (IPC). Following a 2.1% inflation rate in July, various pensions and allowances will see adjustments.

Key updates include:

- Pensions: The minimum retirement pension is expected to rise to approximately $428,591. Non-contributory pensions (PNC) for disability and old age will be around $300,013, while the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will reach roughly $342,872. A special bonus of up to $70,000 remains available for those receiving the minimum pension.

- Allowances: The Universal Child Allowance (AUH) will increase to $154,016 per child. Note that ANSES typically retains 20% of this amount, which beneficiaries can recover by presenting required health and education documentation.

Payments are being processed in a staggered schedule based on the final digits of beneficiaries' national identity documents (DNI).
