ANSES announces updated social security payments and increases in Argentina
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) in Argentina has announced updated payment schedules and benefit amounts for October and November 2026. For October, beneficiaries including retirees, pensioners, and holders of various family allowances (AUH, SUAF, and AUE) are receiving a 1.66% increase based on August inflation rates. Additionally, a $70,000 extraordinary bonus is being distributed to those with the lowest incomes.
Looking ahead to November 2026, benefits are scheduled to increase by 1.93% due to September inflation, with the $70,000 bonus continuing for eligible recipients. For example, the minimum retirement pension is expected to reach $444,158.45, or $514,158.45 when including the full bonus.
ANSES is also implementing administrative changes to streamline processes. Starting in November, the agency will automate the verification of medical controls for the Pregnancy Allowance for Social Protection. By receiving monthly data directly from the Ministry of Health, the agency aims to reduce the need for beneficiaries to present physical documentation in person.
