ANSES updates Argentina social benefits and income limits for September 2026

ANSES has implemented several updates to social benefits in Argentina for September 2026. Following July inflation data, SUAF (Single Family Allowance System) benefits and income limits increased by 2.11%. The new individual income limit for SUAF is $3,157,449, while the maximum Family Group Income (IGF) is set at $6,314,898.

Retirees and pensioners will see a new adjustment in October 2026 based on August inflation, estimated at approximately 1.65% to 1.7%. This will raise the minimum pension from $428,633.20 in September to roughly $435,662.86 in October. Additionally, a government extraordinary bonus of up to $70,000 remains available for low-income retirees, though its continuity for October is subject to executive approval.

PAMI has also updated its requirements for 100% free medication coverage. For most affiliates, the monthly income limit is now $642,950 (equivalent to 1.5 minimum pensions). For households with a disability certificate (CUD), the limit increases to approximately $1,285,900.

Separately, the Milei administration has included a proposal in the 2027 Budget project to eliminate the automatic inflation-based updates for AUH (Universal Child Allowance) and family allowances, seeking to move toward discretionary increases determined by presidential decree.
