ANSM warns of unauthorized stem cell therapies in France
The French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) has issued an alert regarding two websites, Liv Hospital and You StemCell, which are promoting unauthorized stem cell therapies in France.
Both companies, based in Turkey, claim their treatments can cure serious conditions including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, autism, cerebral palsy, and ALS. However, the ANSM stated that these therapies have not demonstrated efficacy, safety, or quality, and they lack marketing authorization in France or the European Union.
The agency warned that such treatments pose significant health risks, including the potential for patients to abandon validated medical treatments or experience delays in proper care.
