Ansoáin: UPN condemns hate speech against police during festivities

The Unión del Pueblo Navarro (UPN) municipal group in Ansoáin has condemned hate speech directed at the police during the launch of a rocket announcing the town's patron saint festivities. According to UPN, insults were shouted during the event with the apparent approval of Mayor Marta Díez of EH Bildu.

UPN accused the mayor of hypocrisy, noting that she had recently released a video calling for respect during the festivities. The regionalist party claimed that the mayor's complicity with such messages creates a climate of tension and harms social coexistence. Furthermore, UPN alleged that the EH Bildu government is causing a breakdown in local police services due to an institutional hostility toward authority.
