Ansu Fati completes permanent transfer from Barcelona to Monaco

Ansu Fati has completed a permanent transfer from FC Barcelona to AS Monaco in a deal reported to be worth €11 million. The 23-year-old forward has signed a four-year contract with the French club.

Reflecting on his departure from his boyhood club, Fati expressed feeling “both sadness and joy,” noting the difficulty of leaving friends and staff at La Masia. During his tenure at Barcelona, Fati made 123 appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing six assists, while winning two LaLiga titles and two Copa del Rey trophies.

Beyond football, Fati has revealed a passion for music, using songwriting and singing as an emotional outlet during difficult periods in his career. His track “Sea como sea” has surpassed one million views on YouTube. While he views music as a hobby, he expressed a dream of one day performing his songs live. His primary professional focus remains football and earning a recall to the Spanish national team.
