ANT1 announces new period drama series ‘Krino kai Agathi’

ANT1 is preparing to premiere its new period drama series, ‘Krino kai Agathi’ (Lily and Thorn). The production follows a complex narrative of love and revenge centered on two protagonists, Lefki and Markos.

Lefki, driven by the violent death of her brother and her subsequent upbringing in an orphanage, enters Markos's life with the intent of seeking punishment rather than redemption. Her marriage to him is part of a long-planned scheme for vengeance. Markos, conversely, is a man who previously sacrificed his freedom by taking responsibility for a murder he did not commit to protect his family. The story explores the tension between their shared pasts and the relationship that develops between them despite the lies that underpin it.
