ANT1 announces new period drama series Krino kai Agathi

ANT1 is launching a new period drama series titled ‘Krino kai Agathi’ (Lily and Thorn). The story centers on the intense conflict between two families: the powerful Arvanitakis clan and the Drogoutis family.

The Arvanitakis family consists of influential landowners and timber merchants in the mountains of Platanies. Despite their prestige, they are bound by a secret and an oath of silence regarding a past murder. The plot follows Markos Arvanitis, the middle son, who returns to his home after serving time in prison for a murder he claims he did not commit. His return and his love for a woman named Lefki threaten to expose the family's fragile status.

In contrast, the Drogoutis family is characterized by poverty, loss, and a drive for justice. The series explores how the intersection of these two opposing families and their shared, blood-stained past will impact their lives.
