ANT1 introduces new period drama series ‘Krino kai Agathi’

ANT1 has introduced the central characters of its new period drama series, ‘Krino kai Agathi’ (Lily and Thorn). The story follows the complex relationship between Markos, played by Giorgos Gerontidakis, and Lefki, played by Anastasia Pantousi.

Lefki, driven by the traumatic loss of her brother and years spent in an orphanage, enters Markos's life as part of a long-term revenge plot. She believes Markos is responsible for her brother's death. Markos, however, is a man who previously sacrificed his freedom and took responsibility for a crime he did not commit to protect his younger brother.

The narrative explores the tension between Lefki's desire for vengeance and the love that develops between the two characters, built upon a foundation of secrets and lies. The series is directed by Andreas Morfonios and written by Gianna Kanellopoulou.
