ANT1 launches historical drama “Kriño & Agkathi”

Greek broadcaster ANT1 announced the premiere of the period drama series “Kriño & Agkathi”. Set in Arcadia in 1959, the story follows Marco Arvanitis, who returns home after a fifteen‑year prison term for a murder that shattered two families. He seeks to marry Leuki, a woman whose letters have sustained him, but her true motive is revenge for a personal tragedy she blames on the same man. As Marco’s family welcomes him, long‑buried secrets between the two households begin to surface, threatening to upend their lives.

The series promises themes of love, vengeance, and hidden truths, positioning itself as a major addition to ANT1’s lineup of Greek television productions.
