ANT1 launches new drama series 'Spilades' with shipwreck and amnesia plot

Greek broadcaster ANT1 has debuted a new drama series titled "Spilades," adapted from Maria Georgiadi’s novel of the same name. The adaptation was co‑written by the author and Alkiviadis Tzortzoglou, and is set in the early 1960s Aegean islands.

The opening episode centres on a catastrophic shipwreck that leaves the heroine, Niki, with complete memory loss. Stripped of her past, she is rescued in the island of Psara and must rebuild her life amid family secrets, love triangles and hidden grudges that drive the series’ mystery‑drama narrative.

The show features a cast led by Deniá Psylliá as Niki, with supporting roles that explore inter‑family conflict and romantic tension across the islands of Psara and Syros, promising a season rich in intrigue and emotional drama.
