ANT1 launches nostalgic 1980s drama series “Ντέρτι”

Greek channel ANT1 has added a new period drama titled “Ντέρτι” to its schedule. Set in Patras in 1987, the series revisits everyday life in the 1980s, from fashion and walk‑mans to the era’s music and social habits. It follows intertwining family and romantic storylines that involve love, betrayal and a search for redemption. The screenplay was written by Melina Tsampani and Petros Kalkovalis, with direction by Spyros Rasidakis. Veteran folk‑singer Natasa Theodoridou provides the title‑track vocals, collaborating with well‑known composer Christos Nikolopoulos, adding a distinctly Greek musical flavour to the show. “Ντέρτι” aims to blend nostalgic details with contemporary storytelling, inviting viewers to experience the cultural texture of the decade while exploring universal human emotions.
