ANT1 launches period drama “Kriño kai Agkathi”

Greek broadcaster ANT1 has added a new period drama, “Kriño kai Agkathi,” to its prime‑time lineup. The series, adapted from a Turkish format, replaces the network’s long‑running show “Grand Hotel.” Set in Arcadia in 1959, it follows a woman who marries her brother’s murderer to exact revenge, only to confront unexpected love.

The show stars George Gerontidakis and Anastasia Pantousi, with supporting roles for Stelios Maineas, Maria Zorba, Giannis Tsortekis and Kateryna Didaskalou. Directed by Andrea Morphonios and written by Gianna Kanelopoulou, the series promises mystery, hidden ties and dramatic revelations.
