ANT1 launches new 1980s‑set drama series “Derti”

ANT1 announced the launch of a new Greek television drama titled “Derti.” The series is set in Patras in 1987 and recreates the aesthetic, music and atmosphere of the 1980s.

The storyline follows Stella (Eugenia Xygkoro) as she returns to her hometown and reunites with her mother Xenia (Klelia Renessi), a former singer at the nightclub Derti. Their relationship is tested by hidden romances, family tensions and the power struggles of the club’s owner Alekos (Tasos Nousias). Other characters include police officer Paschalis (Fanis Mouratidis) and several figures linked to the nightclub’s underworld. “Derti” was written by Melina Tsampani and Petros Kalcolas and directed by Spyros Rasidakis, and it will join ANT1’s programming schedule shortly.
